"The Department of Advertising trains students to perceive problems in marketing communication and to develop and efficiently implement communication strategies in today’s rapidly evolving media environment. The Department offers majors two distinct tracks: “Strategy and Creative Communications” emphasizes proposal practices, analysis, and the ability to integrate advertising with public relations strategies; “Communication Design” focuses on developing skills for creative strategizing, for information conversion and design and in cross-media platforms."
