"Established in 1958, the College of Commerce cultivates talent in business administration practice and research, stressing theoretical knowledge as well as hands-on practical experience, creating a bridge between East and West. Students develop technical knowledge through an international perspective, and are trained to adopt innovative approaches to problem solving, along with a commitment to service. To establish a forward-thinking, internationalized learning environment, in 2000 the College launched English-taught programs, and introduced the International Master of Business Administration Program (IMBA) in 2001, providing a unique and multidimensional management course with a focus on Asian business practices."
