2018 International Career Seminar for NCCU international students

Following the spirit of the Career Month at NCCU, the Office of International Cooperation (OIC) initiated its Career Placement Project for international students on March 16. Recognizing that there are limited career resources available to international students, the OIC offered a Bus Shuttle to the 2018 International Career Seminar, the 7th annual event hosted at National Tsing Hua University, aimed at bringing local companies and international students together.
Attendees of this free of charge seminar were able to explore employment opportunities for their future career in Taiwan. International students were able to hand in their résumé to a number of leading Taiwanese companies, have on-site interviews with HR managers, and receive career consultations from experts.
Seven ICT-related companies attended the seminar organized by the Taipei Computer Association (TCA). Dennis Hu, Director General of the TCA, announced that TCA will establish a so-called “International Student Elite Society Club” in the near future, which shall help facilitate international students’ employment needs and will operate across various universities in Taiwan, thus representing a networking opportunity that international students, who aim to have a career in Taiwan, should be on the lookout for.
