Structural reinforcement project of the Administration Building is going to start in August this year and expected to complete in late March next year. All existing administrative units are scheduled to relocate to alternative office locations such as the Research and Innovation-incubation Center, International Building, Arts & Culture Center, Feng Yu Building, Gymnasium, General Building of Colleges, and I-house from July 11 to 20 this year.

According to the Office of General Affairs, most temporary offices do not currently have sufficient telecommunication cables or lines, so the relocation agenda starts from March to May with the preparation and installations of telephone lines, electrical wiring, and network connections for alternative office. July 11 to 20 will be the time to move out of the Administration Building. The reinforcement construction will take place in August, is expected to complete in March next year, and should be ready for examination and checking in April 2019. All offices are then scheduled to be shifting back to the Administration Building in July next year.

Temporary administrative offices will be scattered around the downhill campus and the uphill one. Office of the President, Vice Presidents, Secretariat, Research and Development, Personnel, and parts of the General Affairs will be moving to the Research & Innovation-Incubation Center on the uphill campus. The Cashier Section and Accounting Office are to be placed in the Gymnasium, Document & Postal Section in the Feng Yu Building, Driver's Room and Call Center in the General Building of Colleges. Parts of the Office of Academic Affairs (except for the Registration Section to be settled on the General Building of Colleges) will be relocated to the International Building. The Office of Student Affairs is moving to the Feng Yu Building and Zi Qiang Dormitories No. 9 and 10. Center for Teaching and Learning Development will be placed in the Qi Xian Building. The Office of International Cooperation (OIC) is going to set an alternative office in the I-House, whereas the Campus Caring Group will be settled in the Arts & Culture Center.

Nonetheless, a joint single-window administrative working area will be set on the first floor of the Feng Yu Building, where the OIC, Office of R&D, Secretariat, Personnel, General Affairs, and Student Affairs could provide primary administrative assistance.
