The results of the Men and Women’s Track and Field Games of the 91st Anniversary Sports Competition were released. This year, the event includes softball throw, long jump, high jump, shot put, sprint races of 100m, 200m, 400m, middle distances of 800m and 1,500m, long distances of 5,000m and 10,000m.
 
Juo Juin-Hung (卓峻宏), from Business Administration, won Men’s softball throw championship of 69.83m. Ho Yi-Shan (何怡珊), a junior from Money and Banking, won women's softball throw championship of 48.9m, breaking last year’s record. She has attributed her success to learning softball since elementary school and gained experience from participating last year’s sports competition.
 
Tang Kai-Chien (湯凱健) from Mathematical Sciences, a Malaysian student who won championships in long jump of 5.48m and high jump of 1.76m, breaking his personal high jump record since high school. Chou Chia-Yu (周家宇) from Business Administration, won first place in women’s long jump of 3.64m. Chen Yi-Chieh (陳奕傑) of Arabic Language and Culture won women’s high jump of 1.45m.
 
In shot put, Yuan Da-Chih (袁大智) from Mathematical Sciences, won men’s championship at 9.56m, for women, Yang Ping-Wei (楊品葦), participating in this particular game for the first time, won first place at 4.76m.
 
In men’s short distance of 100m and 200m, Tang Kai-Chien (湯凱健) won both championships by 11”60 and 24”00. In men’s 400m, alumnus Lin Mu-Zhi (林牧之) won championship by 57”95. In women’s 100m and 200m short distances, Chou Chia-Yu (周家宇) from Business Administration got first prizes respectively by 13”48 and 24”54. The latter record made school history over the past decades. In women’s 400m, Chen Yi-Chieh (陳奕傑) of Arabic Language and Culture moved from last year’s second place to first place this year by 68”28.
 
In men’s 800m, alumnus Cheng Si-En (鄭斯恩) won first place, for women, first place Chen Yi-Chieh (陳奕傑) of Arabic Language and Culture and second place Hsu Yu-Tang (徐于棠) from European Language and Cultures both broke the record of the Sports Competition in history.
 
In men’s 1,500m, Ding Ying-Shiang (丁胤翔) from East Asia Studies won first place by 5’07”99, for women, Luo Zhi-Yun (羅子昀) from Public Administration got gold medal with a 6’16”20 record.
 
In men’s 5,000m and 10,000m, Liang Ming-Te (梁名德) from College of Communication won first place by 18’43”83. Hsu Yin-Yin (許茵茵) also participated in both games and got gold medals by 22’31”78 and 48’34”56 respectively.
