<NCCU’s 91st Anniversary> Accounting claims double crown in Volleyball and Basketball in Department Border Cups

Department of Accounting claimed titles for Men’s basketball and volleyball in the Department Border Cups during NCCU’s 91st Anniversary Sports Day on May 19. The players in Accounting defeated those from Economics in Men’s basketball with a final score of 57-43 and also won Department of Land Economics by 2-0 in Men’s volleyball, seizing double crown.
Department of Accounting cruised to an impressive 2-0 (25-23, 25-17) victory against Land Economics in Men’s volleyball. Both teams were nearly neck to neck in both rounds, and despite the opponents' firm intention to defense, players from Accounting with strong performances, used their height advantage and won in the end.
In Men’s Basketball, Department of Accounting clinched a 57-43 victory against Economics. It was an intense competition as both teams were relentless in their pursuit of goals. Despite the players from Economics trying to cut the point lead, their opponents continued to fight on, outscoring by 14 points. Their awards were not only championship trophy, but also basketball shoes, and prizes sponsored by the NCCU Griffins Alumni Association.
