How similar are the languages and cultures of the Slavic nations, and what makes each of them unique?
We are delighted to welcome Dr. Svitlana Shurma from Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic, for a special lecture at National Chengchi University (NCCU).
In this lecture, Dr. Shurma will explore the linguistic and cultural similarities and differences among five Slavic nations: the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus. The talk offers an opportunity to better understand their shared linguistic and historical backgrounds, as well as their distinctive cultural identities.
