【Construction Notice】General Building Restroom Renovation and Temporary Closure Starting June 15, 2026

Construction Announcement: 2026 Restroom Renovation Project
1. Locations
(1) General Building of Colleges – 2nd Floor

  • South Wing – Men's and Women's Restrooms
  • North Wing – Men's and Women's Restrooms

(2) General Building of Colleges – 3rd Floor

  • North Wing – Women's Restroom

(3) General Building of Colleges – North Wing, 6th–16th Floors

  • Replacement of horizontal sewer pipes in restrooms

2. Noise Impact

Construction noise is expected to begin on June 15, 2026.

3. Restroom Closures
(1) General Building of Colleges – 1st Floor (South and North Wings)
  • June 15 to July 19, 2026
(2) General Building of Colleges – 2nd Floor (South and North Wings)
  • June 15 to November 11, 2026
(3) General Building of Colleges – 3rd Floor (North Wing)
  • June 27 to November 26, 2026
(4) Horizontal Pipe Replacement
  • Work will commence on the 16th floor beginning June 15, 2026. During construction on each floor, the restrooms on the floor immediately below will be temporarily closed for approximately three days. Safety barriers will be installed around the work areas to ensure safety.
We kindly remind all faculty, staff, and students to exercise caution when passing through renovation areas and to use alternative routes whenever possible. Please use restrooms on other floors during the closure periods.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the renovation work. Thank you for your support and cooperation as we work to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for the campus community.
