Qualifications

1. Applicants must hold a PhD in Foundations of Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or in a closely related field, from an accredited domestic or international institution recognized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education.
2. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate:
   • Experience or proven competence in teaching courses delivered in English;
   • Prior teaching experience at the secondary school level.

Required Application Materials

Applicants should submit the following materials:

1. Curriculum vitae and a brief academic autobiography.
2. Copy of the PhD diploma (doctoral candidates must obtain the PhD degree prior to the appointment start date and provide official documentation certifying successful completion of the dissertation defense), along with copies of academic and professional appointment certificates. Original documents will be verified upon appointment. Foreign degrees must be duly authenticated by the appropriate overseas representative offices.
3. Official doctoral transcripts (waived for applicants already holding the rank of Assistant Professor or above; such applicants should instead provide a copy of their university-level teacher certificate).
4. University teacher certificate and any additional supporting documentation.
5. Complete list of scholarly publications (including doctoral dissertation), indicating indexing status (e.g., SSCI, SCI(E), TSSCI, A&HCI, EI), and up to ten (10) representative full-text publications.
6. A list of research projects for which the applicant has served as principal investigator or participated as a co-investigator (please specify projects funded by the National Science and Technology Council).
7. Statement of academic expertise, courses the applicant is prepared to teach, and university-level teaching experience, along with detailed syllabi for at least three courses previously taught or proposed (including courses taught in English).
8. Documentation of academic awards, honors, or professional certifications.
9. Any additional materials relevant to the review process.

Applications that are incomplete or received after the deadline will not be considered.

Application Deadline

All materials must be received no later than March 2, 2026, 23:59 (Taiwan Time).

Alternative Submission for Large Files

In the event that publication files or supporting documents cannot be uploaded due to file size limitations, applicants may either:
• Upload a Word or ODT file indicating that the materials are stored in an external cloud drive, together with the access link; or
• Submit the materials on a USB drive via registered mail or courier.

Mailed or couriered materials must arrive by March 2, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
