題目：Narrative viewpoint in language: Alice in Wonderland through a Multi-ParT approach

摘要：In this talk, I will introduce the research of narrative viewpoint in cognitive stylistics, and will introduce Multi-ParT, a method of comparing the rendition of a style from different languages. Multi-ParT advocates cross-linguistic comparison of literary works especially with multiple renditions within the same language, so that (basically) reliable generalizations can be made over parallel productions by representative users of a particular language at issue. In this talk, I will discuss the viewpoint structure in selected passages from Alice in Wonderland and how the stylistic choices in the English text are (not) systematically implemented in the Mandarin renditions.
