In celebration of NCCU Career Month, the office of the International Affairs (OIC) of the National Chengchi University had conducted a series of job hunting preparatory courses and career fairs for international students from March to April of 2019.

The first event was a four-week Resume Writing and Job Interview Workshop that was conducted every Friday of the month of March. It was facilitated by Ms. Julie Lin, a proven senior Human Resource management professional.

The series of workshop was aimed to equip students with basic knowledge on how to write their resume effectively and stand out from the rest of the crowd as well as the appropriate answers and techniques in acing a job interview.

Aside from the usual lecture, the students were asked to submit their resumes and invited them to a mock interview which proved to be very helpful because Ms. Lin provided feedbacks to students. These feedbacks encouraged them to improve their resume and be less nervous during an interview. “It really prepared me, it gave me the opportunity to experience a real life interview,” said Danielle Weekes, 2nd year IMBA student.
