On October 6, 2026, the NCCU College of Commerce (NCCUC) held its annual Partner School Fair, turning the first floor of the Commerce Building into a lively space for international exchange. Representatives from more than 40 partner schools around the world joined the fair, sharing school information, exchange experiences, and cultural insights. The fair offered students a chance to explore overseas study opportunities and reflected NCCUC’s ongoing commitment to internationalization.
From noon to 1:30 p.m., students visited booths to learn about exchange programs and discover what studying abroad might be like. Representatives prepared a variety of printed materials and digital resources, introducing their schools’ campuses, academic programs, and unique features. Through these conversations, students gained a better understanding of different study environments and life abroad, helping them explore options for their future exchange plans.
A special feature of the fair was that all booth representatives were exchange students currently studying at NCCUC. They warmly shared firsthand experiences of their classes, campus life, daily routines, and local cultures. The fair offered students a chance to connect with people from different backgrounds, learn about new cultures, and make international friends. These personal stories also helped students better understand what an overseas exchange experience could offer. Thomas Heath, an exchange student from the School of Economics and Business at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia, shared that as international exchange becomes more accessible and opportunities for overseas study continue to grow, students should make the most of these opportunities and explore different possibilities.
The Office of International Programs (OIP) noted that the Partner School Fair is more than a platform for sharing exchange information. It also helps build international friendships and broaden students’ perspectives. Through direct interaction with exchange students, participants can learn from different cultural and academic experiences and discover new possibilities for their future. The fair also reflects the strong connections between NCCUC and its partner schools around the world. OIP sincerely thanks all participating partner schools for their enthusiastic support and contributions, which helped make the event a success. Looking ahead, OIP hopes to continue expanding the fair and creating more opportunities for international exchange.
The annual fair reflects NCCUC’s continued efforts to promote internationalization and its commitment to helping students connect with the world. Through these exchanges, we hope more students will discover different cultures, broaden their global perspectives, and find new opportunities for growth. We look forward to welcoming our partner school representatives again next year and continuing to unfold our maps to the world.
