Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping corporate management and industrial development. On August 19, 2026, Professor Tammy Lin, Director of National Chengchi University’s Master’s Program in Global Communication and Innovation Technology (GCIT), attended the 2026 AI + MarTech White Paper Roundtable organized by the Asia-Pacific MarTech Transformation Alliance Association (AMT). She joined experts from the technology, marketing, and business sectors to discuss enterprise AI adoption, talent development, governance frameworks, and collaboration among industry, government, and academia.
Chaired by AMT Chairperson Elle Huang, the roundtable brought together representatives and industry experts from CTBC Bank, SMEbig AI Branding, Galaxy Software Services Corporation, AviviD.ai, and beBit Tech. Participants exchanged perspectives on emerging developments in AI and marketing technology, as well as the practical challenges businesses face when implementing them.
Professor Lin emphasized that adopting AI involves far more than a technological upgrade. It requires organizations to address a range of interconnected challenges, including collaboration between human and digital employees, data cleansing and cybersecurity boundaries, workflow redesign, and organization-wide AI literacy.
“For AI to be effectively integrated into business operations, organizations must establish clear frameworks for data governance, accountability, and performance evaluation,” Professor Lin said. “Only then can AI be transformed into a sustainable organizational capability.”
She also advocated cultivating professionals with expertise in developing AI benchmarks and governance frameworks. Together with other participating experts, she called for closer collaboration among industry, government, and academia to develop sovereign AI tailored to the needs of Taiwan’s vertical industries, thereby strengthening data autonomy, cybersecurity, and industrial competitiveness.
Elle Huang, who chaired the roundtable, also serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor-level Technical Expert at GCIT. In Fall 2026, she will teach “MarTech and Marketing Strategy in the AI Era,” a course integrating AI, marketing technology, and industry practice to help students understand digital transformation trends and their broader social implications.
GCIT will continue to strengthen its teaching and industry engagement in AI governance, marketing technology, and digital transformation, cultivating a new generation of professionals equipped with technological literacy, industry insight, and interdisciplinary capabilities.
