National Chengchi University commenced Phase 1 of the campus-wide pavement improvement project on July 2, 2026. To help pedestrians get around the campus safely during the construction period, the attached illustration shows the designated pedestrian routes. Details are as follows:
- Construction Period: From now until October 5, 2026.
- Construction Area: Si Wei Boulevard (section from Main Library and College of Commerce to Administration Building and Computer Center, excluding the area in front of the main entrance of Si Wei Hall).
- Pedestrian Pathways and Fencing Notice:
- Yellow dashed lines in the diagram represent the construction fence zone; please do not enter during the construction period.
- Red solid arrows in the diagram indicate pedestrian pathways. Faculty, staff, students, and visitors are requested to follow the routes shown in the diagram and on-site signage.
- Accessible pedestrian routes during construction lead to the Main Library, Si Wei Hall, Administration Building, Guo Fu Building, Zhi Xi Building, Information Building, and surrounding areas as shown in the attached map.
- To maintain safety, please cooperate with on-site access controls and pay attention to construction notices and staff guidance.
- Fence locations and pedestrian routes are expected to be reviewed and adjusted in early September based on actual construction progress. Any subsequent changes will be announced separately.
