The Master’s Program in Global Communication and Innovation Technology (GCIT) at National Chengchi University (NCCU) co-hosted the “2025 AI+ MarTech Brand Summit: The 5th Annual General Meeting” on March 7, in collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Martech Transformation Alliance Association (AMT Alliance). Professor Trisha Lin, the GCIT Director and a Distinguished Professor, attended the summit, where she highlighted the unique features of the GCIT program and fostered opportunities for collaboration between industry and academia, as well as student internships.

The summit at NCCU’s Public Administration and Business Administration Education Center gathered 19 industry leaders from seven sectors and attracted over 500 corporate representatives. The event showcased over 50 booths featuring AI and innovative marketing technology applications. It also welcomed scholars and government officials to discuss how AI and marketing technology can drive brand innovation and enhance market competitiveness. Overall, the event highlighted Taiwan's innovation capacity and international influence in AI and marketing technology.

Since its establishment in 2021, the AMT Alliance has grown to include over 300 member enterprises, making it the largest and most influential MarTech industry alliance in the Asia-Pacific region. This year's summit, themed "Reshape Today, Create the Future," focused on the applications of predictive AI and generative AI in brand management and marketing strategies. The summit also featured the debut release of the AI+ MarTech 6.0 Industry Landscape Map, which offers an in-depth analysis of the latest industry trends and application scenarios.

During the summit, Professor Lin emphasized how the Graduate Program in Communication and Innovation Technology (GCIT) integrates interdisciplinary resources to develop talents with global perspectives and practical technological skills. She highlighted the significance of AI technologies in creative content generation and brand marketing, stating:

“GCIT is Taiwan's first master's program that combines global communication with innovation technology. Our curriculum includes courses on marketing technology (MarTech), AI applications, new media content generation, and international communication strategies. We actively collaborate with leading industry partners, such as the AMT Alliance, to ensure that our students are equipped with the latest knowledge in marketing technology.”

Professor Lin also noted that, in response to the rapid development of generative AI, GCIT has introduced courses on AI content generation and interactive technologies and established a Virtual Studio to enable students to practice generating AI-driven videos, images, and text content.

“Through our Dual Mentor Program, we combine industry expertise and academic research to help students apply AI marketing strategies in real-world business environments and build strong market competitiveness,” she added.

At the summit, Sharon Wu, Co-Founder of the AMT Alliance, highlighted the following:

“This year’s summit showcases the latest applications of AI and marketing technology (MarTech), enabling enterprises to develop more precise marketing strategies and accelerate brand innovation. Through the AMT Alliance platform, businesses can stay ahead of MarTech trends and unlock new market opportunities.”

AMT Co-Founder and Chairperson Elle Huang expressed her appreciation for Professor Lin's insightful presentation at the summit:

"Her professional presentation enhanced the industry's understanding of the talent value offered by the GCIT program. With a solid foundation in ethics and practical skills, GCIT graduates can play a vital role in digital transformation and market innovation." Professor Lin expressed her gratitude at the strong interest shown by government officials and industry experts in GCIT's unique interdisciplinary program. She highlighted the program's long-standing collaboration with the AMT Alliance, which includes internship opportunities, industry-academia projects, and a dual mentor system. These initiatives help students gain practical experience in MarTech applications.

Looking ahead, GCIT will continue to work closely with the AMT Alliance and industry partners to drive AI marketing innovation and nurture globally competitive MarTech professionals.
