【民族系訊】
由民族系與日本京都大學合辦，2024年中國伊斯蘭與穆斯林研究工作坊已於1月22日在社科院第一會議室順利舉行。這次會議主題為︰Dealing with Uncertainty: New Approaches to Feasibility Studies on Muslims in China. 希望藉由與會學者共同探討，在當前特殊環境與氣氛下，如何開展中國伊斯蘭與穆斯林研究的各種可行性。會中尤其側重在歷史發展脈絡的重新疏理、田野民族誌研究方法的典範轉移、與宗教經典的當代解讀等重要議題的討論。

本次工作坊由本校民族系副教授張中復與日本早稻田大學助理教授海野憲子（Unno Noriko）共同籌組，與會者及其主題，包括日本京都大學副教授中西龍也（Nakanishi Tatsuya），發表“Utilizing Arabic Sources for the Exploration of Islam in China: A Study of Book of Ode in Arab (Tianfang shijing 天方詩經)”；暨南大學助理教授包修平，發表“Before Chinese Azharites: Sino-Muslim Intellectuals and the Muslim World (1840s-1920s) ”；德國科隆大學博士候選人Amtul Shaheen，發表“The Struggle of Shifting Field and Site: From Doing Research on Chinese Muslims to Researching Muslims in Taiwan”； 荷蘭萊登大學博士候選人Francesca Rosati，發表“Piety with Chinese characteristics: Part-time Religious Learning as a Model for Muslim Women's Religious Education in Linxia from the Shijiuda to the Post-pandemic Era”；美國約翰霍普金斯大學博士候選人Kevin Kind發表“Panic to the West: Rumor and Unrest in Xinjiang During the 1895 Dungan Uprisings”；日本千葉工業大學副教授砂井紫里（Yukari Sai），發表”Honesty, Mutual Interaction, and Local Vegetarian food: Between Regulation and Daily Paractice of Halal Products and Service in Taiwan”﹔臺灣大學博士後研究員洪德維，發表“Encounters in the Nusantara Archipelago: Interactions Between Islam and Overseas Chinese Religions Before the 20th Century”；以及張中復的“Hidden Victims: The Representation of Historical Memory about the Mongols during the Muslim Rebellion of Northwest China in the Late Qing Period”，與 海野憲子的“Beijing Muslim Communities during the Republican Period as Seen by the Japanese”。期間特別邀請中研院史語所博士後研究員Tommaso Previato擔任全程主持人。

工作坊結束後，23日特別安排與會學者前往桃園平鎮的龍岡社區進行田野參訪。該地區為全臺灣最集中、最具多元特色的穆斯林社區。除拜會龍岡清真寺外，亦考察忠貞市場、參觀泰緬孤軍故事館，並享受當地雲南穆斯林特別準備的緬甸風味的清真簸箕飯與酸湯魚等，讓此行國內外學者留下深刻的印象，也感受到臺灣多元的穆斯林社會文化與歷史記憶的各種特色。
