A group of about 50 GCIT students, faculty, and staff members had the incredible opportunity to visit the TSMC Museum of Innovation on September 23, 2023. From the moment they stepped inside, they were immersed in semiconductor technology's fascinating history and innovation.

During the scheduled TSMC guided tour, the GCIT group learned about the evolution of chips, from the ancient abacus to the cutting-edge chips that power today's most advanced devices. They also witnessed the mind-blowing impact of nanotechnology on industries such as healthcare, transportation, and manufacturing.

A highlight of the visit was the virtual reality experience, which allowed the GCIT group to explore the future prospects of semiconductor-enabled activities at work and leisure time.

The GCIT group left the museum with a deeper understanding of the semiconductor industry and its global impact. They were also inspired by the innovative spirit of TSMC and its commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

Stay tuned for more adventures from the GCIT group!
