The Washington DC based think tank, NBR will introduce their latest report published in March 2022, on “China’s Digital Ambitions: A Global Strategy To Supplant The Liberal Order”. It argues that China is seeking to replace the liberal digital order with a China-dominated, illiberal one. In addition to analyzing the tactics China is implementing to carry out this goal, the report also examines the security implications of China’s growing digital influence and provides recommendations for liberal democracies to formulate more effective responses.
