In May, NCCU’s presidential selection committee convened and met with the three final candidates who had been put forward through the university’s internal selection process. After in-depth and deliberate review, the selection committee selected Professor Tsai-Yen Li as the next president of the university starting August 1, 2022.
 
Prof. Tsai-Yen Li is the professor from Computer Science Department, College of Informatics. It is believed that Prof. Tsai-Yen Li will continue NCCU’s legacy in humanities and social sciences and transform NCCU from one of the leading universities into a university that will achieve educational excellence of another level in the digital age.
