    NCCU Wins a Bronze Medal at the 13th QS-APPLE Most Creative Corporate Institution Video Global Award

    To celebrate its 90th anniversary, Office of International Cooperation (hereafter, “OIC”) made an NCCU promotional video for the international student recruitment, which got favored by jury and won a bronze prize for the “Most Creative Corporate Institution Video” in the 13th QS-APPLE (QS Asia-Pacific Professional Leaders in Education) Conference on November 22, making NCCU the only awarded college in Taiwan.

    Over 50 Partner Universities Participated in 2017 NCCU Study Abroad Fair

    Aiming to help students get the information for studying abroad, Office of International Cooperation (hereafter, “OIC”) organized the “2017 Study Abroad Fair” from October 30 to November 2. In this fair, students could get first-hand information from each partner university’s booth and also collect sticker from the booths in exchange for either lunch boxes or souvenirs.

    Mexican Trade Services Documentation and Culture Office in Taipei holds a photograph exhibition of Mexican artists Frida Kahlo and her husband Diego Rivera starting from October 2nd to 20th, 2017, in the lobby of NCCU’s Main Library.

    Brainstorming Cross-culturally, NCCU ISS now in session

    NCCU’s International Summer School (ISS) is now in session. The orientation was held on July 2, 2017, and aimed to equip participants with information about living on campus. The course provides formal Mandarin classes and 12 professional classes with a concentration on East Asia, such as: Asian Economies, China and East Asia, and Relations Across the Taiwan Strait. Fully taught in English, ISS gathers 92 international students from 15 nations and enables them to swap ideas cross-culturally.

    Fulbright marks its 60th anniversary in Taiwan and continues collaboration with NCCU

    Fulbright Taiwan marked its 60th anniversary at National Chengchi University (NCCU) by establishing the Research Workshop 2016-17 on March 8. The event, took place at NCCU’s Research and Innovation-Incubation Center, featured panel discussions and workshops with leading academics and practitioners from Hong Kong, China, Macau, Taiwan, and the U.S..

    NCCU Partner Day: Guests from 30 Schools Paid Visit

    Forty guests from 30 partner schools visited the NCCU campus to participate in the 2017 NCCU Partner Day organized by the Office of International Cooperation on March 17th. President Edward Chou (周行一) noted that close friendship between NCCU and partner schools should be maintained. Guests participated in the morning workshop, faculty meeting and flower planting celebration afterwards to better understand NCCU and explore more cooperation opportunities.

    NCCU president attends the German-Taiwanese Higher Education Policy Forum

    National Chengchi University (NCCU) President Edward Chow (周行一) participated in the 2016 German-Taiwanese Higher Education Policy Forum in Berlin and sought for resolutions on higher education with his German counterparts, while he also visited three universities for anchoring partnership with them between Nov. 26 and Dec. 2.

    NCCU president visits universities in the U.S. for anchoring relationship

    National Chengchi University (NCCU) President Edward Chow (周行一) signed a new contract with University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign (UIUC) and extended the relationship between NCCU and Western Washington University (WWU) when he visited Urbana Champaign, Ill. and Bellingham, Wash. between Oct. 26 and Nov. 7.
